this also happens....

the day after the smajhauta express mishappening occured, i was on the airport to board for pune. as usual the flight was delayed by 2-3 hours.reading a newly launched newspaper metronews, a news story forced me to think for a while.

the victims of the samjhauta express blast were taken to the safdarjang hospital for treatment. Mr. Kasuri also praised the doctors lot for all the work they were doing. ironically there was a dark side too.a young man of ghaziabad with major burn injuries was taken to safdarjang hospital, but was denied any medical treatment as he was not one of the victims of the blast.his relatives pleaded and prayed a lot but no one was there to look this burnt case as the doctors were busy treating the samjhauta express victims.

doctors, to indians are still next to god. how can a person who is trained to save lives, deny the treatment to a dying patient ?

chernobyl

System.out.println("Aadab !");

writing after a big gap. at the time of starting the blog, i thought to be regular. but its real difficult. anyways something is better then nothing.

Its 20 years now, memories of Chernobyl still haunts.
Chernobyl situated Reactor no 4 exploded, It burned for some 10 days, sending radiation across a large swathe of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. purely due to human negligience. the design of the reactor was faulty.the test which was being conducted at the time of accident, was well known to be unstable on these kind of reactors.

Though the official toll was 56, but thousands died since then. cases of cancer increased manifold in the affected area.116000 people had to evacuate, another 210000 were resettled. a new town Slavutich was built to for the affected people. Birth Rate decreased substantially
About 200,000 people ("liquidators") from all over the Soviet Union were involved in the recovery and clean up during 1986 and 1987.

A World Health Organisation report released in September put the overall death toll from Chernobyl at 4,000, though the figure is disputed as being too low

The decontamination work still continues. around 4000 people work in shifts of not more than 20 mins for safety reasons. still approx 3 million tonnes of nuclear waste is lying in the zone.

According to the Ukraine, 2.4 million of its people, among them 428,000 children, suffer health problems linked to the nuclear disaster

Even after facing this tragedy, we are still running in the nuclear race.

Are we really human?

entering web space...

System.out.println (“Hello World !”);

GOOD Friday ?

7 blasts in Srinagar killing 5 people, many injured.
Twin blasts in heart of Delhi in center of Jama Masjid injuring 13 innocents.

While I am writing this piece, television is telling about these incidents but does all these really matter in our life ? just two more days and no one will remember what happened.

All the channels who are giving big footages to these incidents today, working on their toes to give something 'exclusive' , will sideline these issues in next couple of days. Just as it happened with last week Meerut tragedy ! what to do they are working for the TRP ratings. And TRP ratings counts more with new sensational items.

Tragedy which the meerut faced last week, frankly speaking was just a piece of daily news for the reader or television audience, I know I am sounding very harsh, infact cruel when I say so, but think honestly does it really affected us ? the whole incidence was really sad and the icing of the cake was the most inhuman behaviour of the highly educated officers who represented the government there. It was really shameful to see them blaming each-other for the incident, as if kids blaming one another for some mistake done, none of the officer spoke about the victims, about their condition, they were just busy saving their skins.

I would like to remember the real life heros Javed and Pooja, who saved many kids people without giving second thought about their lives. My salute to them.
At least these so called responsible officers should take some lesson from the lives of Javed and Pooja and behave like grown-ups.

...for a long time I was thinking to enter the webspace. Going through many options which includes creating website or portal, finally I zeroed down on weblog or blogs. I think this is one of the best way available for an amature to express himself. For last few days I was really serious to knock the door of web world and join it. so here am I...
